Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
